I think that'd be the best thing. A lecturing hat. Maybe that's how Harry Potter got one for his school. Maybe that's what really happened to the school cat.
See, if I'd got him a WHITE hat, and Papa Le Chat was there, you WOULDN'T know the difference. (Papa Le Chat also spends obscene amounts of time sleeping at the top of any bed, frequently with the occupant still in the bed. We stay toasty warm that way!)

I thought you'd tied a string around the cat.

I just hope he doesn't accidentally put the cat on his head. It may be a painful mistake!
